ON A CHARGE
IN
NSW STATE TITLE
Jordyn Charge and his team took a 12 hr + road trip and
headed up to Gunnedah, NSW to compete in the NSW State
Title on Sat April 26th, Anzac weekend.
Arriving at the track a day early for a practice
session, Jordyn and his team were left disappointed as
the session was cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
With an unfamiliar track surface and no time to practise
the pressure was on to "just get it right on the day."
Jordyn qualified to start 3rd in the Title, after
placing second in two heats and taking out a heat win.
Jordyn crossed the finishline only moments behind AUS #1
Danny Carroll (fellow Victorian) placing him second on
the podium, while NSW youngster Jayke Brien finished in
third.

Runs Rings Around Redline
The date was set and the time had come
for Jordyn and his fellow JQMV competitors to take a
road trip to Redline Speedway Ballarat to promote the
sport they love and provide a demonstration to the
crowds who gathered for the AMCA Victorian Title
Saturday 16th February.
With a full crowd the kids and their cars
as expected received plenty of attention both on and off
the track.
With the display of quarter midgets
parked in the pits between two of Victorians hard
charging Amca drivers Steve Ellis and Ricky Clark, it
gave each and everyone of the junior drivers an insight
into things to come should they decide to stay involved
in the sport of motor racing.
With
their first
debut at Redline Speedway the drivers
spent a few moments getting a handle on the very tricky
D shaped track, and then they let loose and produced
amazing hot laps, showing the crowd just what these
future stars of tomorrow can do.

a great day filled with action on the first round of the JQMV 07/08
Championships Jordyn earnt some significant points to place him 2nd on the
series ladder only to be seperated by 2 points behind Bobby Richardson in 1st.
"This
is going to be a tough year for Jordyn I feel. I believe anyone of the drivers
could win this years championship and only by a point or two as they seem so
evenly spread. Every car that hit the track looked to be very competitive, and
the drivers seem so much more ambitious. It will definitely be season, that
keeps everyone on their toes."

"Jordyn Charge! If
there was ever a name that was destined to be a race car
drivers name then this surely
must be it! I first met young Jordyn at a concert with
his mum and dad Mark and Danielle. They showed me a
photo of Jordyn's brand new quarter midget and Jordyn's
eyes lit up. I watched him progress over his first
season, watching his confidence and determination grow
and it was this that led me to talk to his parents about
getting involved. I wish Jordyn all the best in the
upcoming season and I am proud to be sponsoring the
number #34 car. Who knows, he could be the next Gary
