ON A CHARGE IN NSW STATE TITLE

Jordyn Charge and his team took a 12 hr + road trip and headed up to Gunnedah, NSW to compete in the NSW State Title on Sat April 26th, Anzac weekend.

Arriving at the track a day early for a practice session, Jordyn and his team were left disappointed as the session was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. With an unfamiliar track surface and no time to practise the pressure was on to "just get it right on the day."

Jordyn qualified to start 3rd in the Title, after placing second in two heats and taking out a heat win.

Jordyn crossed the finishline only moments behind AUS #1 Danny Carroll (fellow Victorian) placing him second on the podium, while NSW youngster Jayke Brien finished in third.

Jordyn eager to make his moves to a podium finish dived under Bobby Richardson coming out of turn 3 placing him momentarily on the podium and in a great position to challenge for second.

However with less than 6 laps remaining Jordyn's podium finish dream was shattered when NSW driver Clayton Small came through the pack and exchanged paint, forcing Jordyn into a spin and causing him to restart rear of field resulting in a 10th place finishing position.

Jordyn Runs Rings Around Redline

The date was set and the time had come for Jordyn and his fellow JQMV competitors to take a road trip to Redline Speedway Ballarat to promote the sport they love and provide a demonstration to the crowds who gathered for the AMCA Victorian Title Saturday 16th February.

.

With a full crowd the kids and their cars as expected received plenty of attention both on and off the track.

With the display of quarter midgets parked in the pits between two of Victorians hard charging Amca drivers Steve Ellis and Ricky Clark, it gave each and everyone of the junior drivers an insight into things to come should they decide to stay involved in the sport of motor racing.

With their first debut at Redline Speedway the drivers spent a few moments getting a handle on the very tricky D shaped track, and then they let loose and produced amazing hot laps, showing the crowd just what these future stars of tomorrow can do.
