2005-2006
INTRODUCING
JORDYN'S
CREW CHIEF
Jordyn's
acting Crew Chief is his uncle Shane Charge.
Whom with sheer dedication and
commitment gets Jordyn out on the track at every chance possible.
" LIKE FATHER, LIKE
SON "
Jordyn's
father Mark Charge recently put his own driving
abilities to the test in the Maxim # V92 Sprintcar
of Matthew Reed.
Jordyn was
very proud of his father, but was noticed to be giving advice on how
you should drive the big boys toys.
( 6 year olds they think
they know it all don't they! )
Jordyn's mother
Danielle is yet to find her way into the seat of a race
car.
She states her desires are
there.... but her courage is not!.
Danielle provides
encouragement and support to both her husband and son.
And at every race day she is seen to be
taking pictures and getting as close to the action as possible.
2006
-
1st Place
in Adelaide
On Saturday 18th Febuary Jordyn
traveled to
Wingfield, South Australia
to compete in a 25 Lap Feature Race (novice class) under lights at
the
Sidewinder Junior Solo
Track.
After a 8 hour journey from Melbourne to
Adelaide, Jordyn was still in high spirits and eager to race against his female
competitor with great courage and enthusiasm.
He finished first in all his 3 heat races
and managed to hold his pole position till the finish line in the 25 lap
feature.
It was Jordyn's first interstate race and
feature win. He was thrilled after doing the honor lap with the chequered flag.
2006
-
Jordyn And
Matthew Reed
In the month of December 2005, Jordyn was given an opportunity
alongside
Matthew Reed and
Wade Aunger from the
WSS (World Series Sprintcar)
organisation to attend a primary school and give an informative
presentation on their sport while discussing the benefits of staying
at school, getting an education and following dreams.
The young children were amazed to see Jordyn and his tiny car parked
next to the big massive # V92 Maxim Sprintcar and the man they all
see on TV
Matthew Reed.

2005 -
First practise
day at Avalon
Jordyn was
among one of the first junior drivers out at the brand new quarter
midget track located at Avalon Melbourne, Victoria.
Among the feelings of nerves
and excitement Jordyn managed to show great control in handling his
car, and after a short period of time he quickly gathered confidence
and speed and managed to take every corner with such precision.

2005
- Jordyn
Gets
His Car
Jordyn was delighted with the
arrival of his Quarter Midget.
It came as a fully assembled
metal frame with a raw body kit.
As only a 5 year old would
Jordyn's only concern was where he would put his so called
stickers and what number he would choose to race with.
The car was sign written by
Peta Dunlop from
Reed Signs.
Peta came up with the
outstanding design of the Westside
Honda
Quarter Midget that you see today.
And Jordyn chose number # 34 which was inspired by his music idol
ADAM BRAND.
