Jordyn packed his race bag and decided to head to school instead of the track this week, where he displayed his car and gave an informative presentation on his sport to over 400 students at Caroline Springs College.

JORDYN 4TH IN AUSSIE TITLE

.

Jordyn, standing at a mere 115 centimeters and weighing in at a low 16 kilograms, competed in the Junior Quarter Midget Australian Title at Avalon Raceway Sat10th March.

After enduring hot weather temperatures , and rough track conditions Jordyn qualified rear of field in 7th position for the 30 lap Australian Title Feature.

Only moments after the green flag dropped Jordyn stepped on the gas and made his moves  fast tracking himself towards the front of the  pack.

As the laps started winding down numerous caution flags were waved as 8 very eager drivers battled it out for the lead, resulting in many single file restarts and several place shuffles.

On lap 23, Jordyn edged his way closer to a podium finish when he over took Warnambool's  #15 Chase Andersson who was sitting in 3rd, only to have another stoppage occur causing the race to be declared.

Unfortunately Jordyn's previous lap position was therefore recorded, officially placing him in 4th.

"I am so proud of him, I can only describe him as having a  'never say die' attitude.

Despite him finding the track conditions tough and car set up not exactly ideal, Jordyn still gave it his all right to the very end.

We would have loved him to start up the front of the pack but with the track surface so challenging it made it very difficult for Jordyn to cope physical.

A 4th Place In the Aussie Title is an excellent achievement for him, especially when you consider that he is only 7 and has only joined the 120cc category this season." Danielle Charge

 AUSSIE TITLE - " I'M READY! "

.

With the approaching Aussie Title being held in less than a week, one would imagine that stress levels would rise and nerves would set in, but not for this little youngster.

Jordyn age 7, was all smiles this week when out practicing and seemed to be going from strength to strength. He displays good car control and great speed and still manages to look calm and at ease, as if not to have a care in the world.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all felt NO PRESSURE and had NO FEAR!

Goo Luck Jordyn! .... RACE HARD AND STAY SAFE

PREPARING FOR AUSSIE TITLE

.

Construction begins in Jordyn's backyard

The Charge Family have began constructing Jordyn's very own practice track on their Melton South property in preparation for the up and coming JQMA Australian Title to be held at Avalon Raceway on Saturday 10th March.

"With the Aussie Title drawing near the practice track will be beneficial in developing Jordyn's cornering techniques and runs out of the straight. Jordyn has improved considerably over this season and we want to give him every opportunity possible to be up their on points, and if the Aussie Title is within reach I'm sure Jordyn will be fighting for it "  (V48 Sprintcar driver and father Mark Charge.)

With only one round left to go in the Championship Jordyn is currently sitting in second place behind Daniel Burleigh, with Bryce Carter hot on their heels and only 2 points behind in 3rd.
